We had a lovely overnight stay at the Pine Motel in Hinton once the AC cooled the room down. I am sure if we called and booked a room in advance, staff would have turned AC on prior to arrival. So it took us a while to fall asleep. Once it cooled off it was a good night sleep. If you are looking for a clean room for a reasonable price and friendly service, then I highly recommend staying here. The bed was comfortable and we also had a small fridge and a microwave which came in super handy! They also had a small Keurig machine in the room so you could have coffee as soon as you got up! We would stay here again if we were in need of a room in Hinton!
This motel was a very Pleasant surprise. The gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful with information. The room was immaculately clean. And the price compared to all other others in the area was quite reasonable. This motel only gets two stars so I was concerned, but what a pleasant surprise
This is an old school motel. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Honestly, it was great! Rooms were clean and in good repair. Easy access off the highway and great location near Jasper. The owner is a very nice man and he’s always quick to help with anything you might need. You can definitely see the pride he takes in his establishment. Can’t go wrong and would definitely stay here again.

This room was very comfortable and more like a little apartment. 2 separate bedrooms, a living room and dinette. We stayed two nights. Towels were cheap barley dryable and limited housekeeping. Beds not made. But can be overlooked for the price, location.
I can't say enough good things about this place. It's a basic motel but the rooms are clean and the service was good. I have a "no room at the inn" story. There were no rooms available in Hinton at all because of the Jasper fires and Pines Motel didn't have any vacancy either, but these guys set me up in a room that was closed for maintenance because the air conditioner was down. The room was great and I even got a good discount on it. They really bailed me out!
While many people sneer at "dated" room features, I think ones primary concern should be cleanliness and security. This room was clean, secure, and had everything that I needed provided; a true comfort. You will have a great sleep in your quiet room that is in close proximity to many retail and dining establishments. Just don't listen to Google Maps and go down the back alley. The potholes can double as lunar craters and swallow your vehicle. Haha. I'll be back in the future!
Staying at the Pines was a most wonderful experience. The establishment is operated by two young fellows and are beyond hospitable. Very friendly, mature and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate. It is an older motel with a 5 star cleanliness attached to it. It is beyond words how well it is maintained. They go the extra mile without doubt. I highly recommend a stay here and it is a peaceful spot as well.
